Arrived at a 300-hectare campsite with only British people, no foreign number plates. Children playing hide and seek here could go a whole week without being found, if they wanted to. Although there is so much space, it is somehow in the British genes to mark out their territory. Most tents and mobile homes fly the flag of the region they come from. I especially hope that no tribal battles break out here.

Arrivé dans un camping de 300 hectares où il n'y a que des Britanniques, pas de plaques d'immatriculation étrangères. Les enfants qui jouent à cache-cache ici peuvent rester introuvables pendant toute une semaine s'ils le souhaitent. Même s'il y a énormément d'espace, les Britanniques ont dans leurs gènes le besoin de délimiter leur territoire. La plupart des tentes et des mobil-homes arborent le drapeau de leur région d'origine. J'espère surtout qu'il n'y aura pas de querelles tribales ici.

Aangekomen op een camping van 300 hectare met alleen maar Britten, geen buitenlandse nummerplaten. Kinderen die hier verstoppertje spelen, kunnen een hele week niet gevonden worden, als ze dit willen. Hoewel er zo massaal veel ruimte is, zit het toch ergens in die Britse genen om hun territorium af ter schermen. De meeste tenten en mobilhomes hijsen elk de vlag vanuit de regio waaruit ze komen. Ik hoop vooral dat hier geen stammentwisten uitbreken.
